Day 1 - On board the Scenic Gem

We are in heaven. What a lovely way to spend our 31st wedding anniversary. The Scenic Gem is a brand new boat. The newest in the Scenic fleet. It is slightly smaller so it only hold 120 guests. We are all settled in. Clothes hung. Cases stowed. Off to the welcome dinner. 

The photos don't really do it justice. The room is spacious enough for the two of us. The balcony fully enclosed although we can lower the top half electronically. It has been exceptionally hot in Budapest so we have it closed at the moment with the air conditioner pumping.
